Bring Back Client/Server

This past Christmas a friend gave me one of those unbearably cool iPods. The problem was that I didn't have one single computer (out of seven) with FireWire, which is needed to talk to the iPod. So, I set out to upgrade my laptop and my home desktop. Then, I realized that my desktop was a dual Pentium (yes, Pentium) 166 with 128MB running NT 4.0 Workstation. So, I returned most of the upgrade equipment, and bought a new case, motherboard and CPU and built a new computer. Oh, and I upgraded both boxes to Windows 2000 (I'm still leery of XP).

I hope I've proved my point. I'm a geek. I buy things and do things just because the technology is cool. Having worked with PeopleSoft 8.4 for the last year, I realize that I am not alone.
